Nominations

The Mississauga Music Walk of Fame is now accepting nominations for the next set of inductees to be honored on this prestigious pathway. We invite the community and music enthusiasts to submit nominations for deserving individuals or groups who have made significant contributions to the music industry and have a strong connection to Mississauga.

The Mississauga Music Walk of Fame aims to recognize artists, musicians, songwriters, producers, and other music professionals who have left an indelible impact on the local and global music scene. This initiative celebrates the diverse musical heritage of Mississauga, showcasing the achievements of talented individuals who have emerged from our vibrant community.

Nominations Criteria

  1. The nominee must have a strong connection to Mississauga, either through birth, residence, or a significant period of their musical career.
  2. The nominee should have achieved notable success or recognition in the music industry, whether through chart-topping hits, awards, critical acclaim, or significant contributions to their respective genres.
  3. The nominee should have a lasting legacy and influence in the music world, inspiring and paving the way for future generations of musicians.

To nominate an individual or group for the Mississauga Music Walk of Fame, please complete the nomination form. Nominations must include a compelling case outlining the nominee’s accomplishments, impact, and why they deserve to be recognized on the Walk of Fame.

The selection committee will review all submissions and carefully consider each nominee’s eligibility and merit. The chosen inductees will be announced at a later date, and their plaques will be unveiled during a future ceremony.
